YOUR PRIVACY
Privacy & advertising.
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This notice explains the current directory’s browser storage, third-party services, and advertising support.
Information you enter
Your saved favourites and custom tool listings are stored in this browser using local storage. Browser-only saves are not submitted to the member database. When member sign-in is enabled and you sign in, account saves and notes are stored privately in Firebase instead. Clearing this site’s browser data removes browser-only saves; it does not delete your cloud account data. When you choose Export results, a CSV file is downloaded to your device.
Member accounts
When enabled, registration uses Firebase Authentication with email and password or an external identity provider such as Google. The first successful provider sign-in creates an account. Email registration creates an account using your email as the sign-in User ID. AI Atlas receives an account identifier and basic identity information such as your email; it does not receive your provider password. Email passwords are sent to Firebase Authentication for secure account management and are never stored in AI Atlas profile documents. Account tool and agent saves, collection names, private notes, and manually marked learning progress are stored in Cloud Firestore under your account. Access is restricted by database Security Rules.
Account data is kept in memory during a visit; account sign-in credentials are persisted by Firebase in browser storage so you can remain signed in. Browser-only favourites are imported only when you choose Import. Custom local listings are not uploaded. You can sign out, export your saved data, or delete your account through My AI Toolkit. Deletion removes saved content and the Firebase sign-in account after reauthentication. An identifier-only security tombstone remains to prevent still-valid sessions from restoring content. Provider accounts are unaffected. See Firebase’s privacy information.
Private profile and preferences
You can provide your name, a display username, optional phone number, and AI interests or learning preferences. These fields are stored privately in Cloud Firestore and are not displayed in the public directory. Display usernames are not unique and cannot be used to sign in. Phone numbers are not used for OTP sign-in. Do not enter sensitive personal details in preferences.
We do not sell your personal profile or share it publicly or with the AI websites listed here. Google Firebase processes account and database information to operate this service; authorized administrators may access data for support and security, and disclosure may be required by law. This is not a promise that no service provider ever processes your information. You can edit your profile, export it with your account data, or delete it in My AI Toolkit. Contact ai1o1.support@gmail.com with privacy questions.
Hosting and fonts
The public site is hosted on Netlify. Hosting providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to serve and secure the site. See Netlify’s privacy policy. The interface requests fonts from Google Fonts, which involves connections to Google’s font services.
Website preview images
The directory displays locally cached images and brand icons from the listed websites. These identify the services and do not imply endorsement. The image sources are listed on the image sources page.
Optional website analytics
With your permission, AI Atlas uses Google Analytics for Firebase to measure visits, sessions, page usage and general device and geographic information. Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar browser identifiers. Analytics is not started until you choose Allow analytics. Your choice is saved in this browser; you can change it using Analytics settings in the footer. Declining leaves the directory and member features available.
AI Atlas does not deliberately send your account email, Firebase user ID, profile details, private notes, or URL query strings and fragments to Analytics. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in the site integration. Google may still process technical connection information when Analytics is enabled. Changing your choice stops future collection from this browser; it does not erase information already collected. Learn about Google’s use of data from partner sites.
Google advertising
AI Atlas supports Google AdSense. Ads are only loaded after the site operator configures an AdSense publisher account and enables them. Preparing the integration does not mean that Google has approved the site or that ads are currently running.
When advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on previous visits to this or other websites. Advertising requests may include technical information such as an IP address, browser or device information, and ad interactions. Google’s advertising cookies can support personalised ads across websites.
You can manage Google ad personalisation in My Ad Center. Read how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services and Google’s advertising policy information.
Where consent is required, the advertising consent message provides the available choices. The site operator must configure the required consent management before enabling ads. Browser controls can also be used to manage cookies and clear local site data.
Public blog posts and comments
When you publish to the Blog, your chosen display name, contribution text and publication date are visible to everyone. Your email and account ID are not displayed publicly. The server verifies your Firebase sign-in and stores contributions with your account identifier in Netlify Blobs, separately from private Firestore account records. Each account can add one contribution per minute. Public blog content is not automatically removed when you delete a private toolkit account; remove your contributions first or contact ai1o1.support@gmail.com for help. Removing a contribution hides it from public view; the record remains in hosting storage for administration. Site administrators can also remove unsuitable content. Never post confidential or sensitive information.
Editorial independence
Editorial star ratings describe the directory’s recommendations. They are not customer-review averages or measured benchmark scores. Advertising does not determine a tool’s editorial rating or directory ranking. Advertisements served by an advertising provider are separate from the directory’s tool listings.
External websites
Visiting an AI tool opens a third-party website. That provider’s own terms, privacy practices, account requirements, and charges apply. This notice does not describe those services’ data handling.

Animation preference
Your animation pause preference is stored in this browser. The site also respects your device’s reduced-motion setting. Goal suggestions and featured-tool discovery use the published directory locally; they do not send your choices to an AI service.
Learning studio
Learning bookmarks, exercise drafts, intro checks and practice completion are stored only in this browser. They do not sync to your account and remain available to other people using the same browser profile. Draft text is not submitted to an AI model by the learning studio. Use the clear practice data control on Learn AI to remove these local records; clearing browser site data also removes them. Video lesson completion is managed separately as described below.
Learning progress and video links
The Learn AI page saves guest lesson completion in this browser’s local storage. Signed-in lesson completion is stored in the member database. You can clear guest progress using your browser’s site-data settings; account progress can be changed in My AI Toolkit. Videos open on YouTube when you choose a link; this site does not embed or autoplay YouTube videos. YouTube’s privacy practices apply when you visit it.
